Community Block Party
​Vendor Application

Thank you for your application to the 2020 Meridian Community Block Party.   We are pleased to have so much interest from community businesses.    In order to maintain the focus of the block party; which has always been kids and families, we are requiring vendors to have an activity which engages youth.  
 
 There are a ton of easy activities and we will offer additional space if necessary for interactive booths.  Please include your activity idea in the comment box. ​   Please call if you have questions (208) 489-0564.

Step 1. Review Details & Requirements

Booth Details

  • Standard booth size is 10’x10’.  Please contact park staff if you would like a bigger size.
  • Vendor is responsible for providing all booth equipment including canopy, tables, chairs, etc.
  • The park does not have power available.  Small, quiet, portable generators are permitted.
  • Stakes longer than eight inches are prohibited.
  • Smoking, including vaping, is only permitted in the park’s parking lots.  No smoking or vaping at vendor booths or event footprint.
  • Booth are strongly encouraged to have an interactive activity to engage attendees.  

Vendor Requirements

  • ​Vendors may not drive anywhere within the park other than on designated driving roads for any reason unless specific permission is given by a Meridian Parks and Recreation Department staff member.
  • Vendors may begin setting up at 8:00am the day of the event.  All vendors must be set up and ready no later than 9:45am.
  • Vendors MUST have a canopy over their 10’x10’ space.   Canopies larger than 10x10 are permitted, but must be schedule ahead of time.
  • Vendors MAY NOT start taking down their booth until the event concludes at 3:00pm.
  • Food and beverages may not be distributed. Samples permitted by special request. 
  • Alcoholic beverage are not permitted in the park.

Note:  Food vendors are hand selected based on food type, price point and presentation.  Please submit a FOOD VENDOR application to apply for a Parks and Recreation event.
