Well-run community events play a large role in making the City of Meridian a premier place to live, work and raise a family. Event permits are required for events which reach beyond the normal use of the park. Meridian Parks and Recreation staff will assist you in any way they can through the permitting process and answer questions as quickly as possible to help ensure your event is a success.
The Event Planners Handbook has been developed to guide event organizers in planning and hosting an event in a Meridian park. Meridian City Code provisions regarding special events do apply.
