CALLING ALL ARTISTS! This is an opportunity to show and sell your artwork in partnership with Meridian's Main Street Market. For Saturday, September 11, the Meridian Arts Commission will cover the cost of all artist vendor registrations- this means you can sign up to sell your artwork for FREE!!

The Meridian Arts Commission will sponsor booths for selected artists to display and sell artwork on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Meridian Main Street Market (“Market”), a weekly community market featuring local food, products, and handcrafted items. The following terms and conditions shall apply to the selected artists’ participation in the Market as a MAC-sponsored vendor (“Vendor”).
All activities, including arrival, set-up, start and close of sales, tear-down, and departure must be conducted in strict accordance with the schedule and guidelines established by the organizer of the Market. Vendor will be solely responsible for transporting artwork and other goods and equipment to the display area, and will be prepared to do so safely and independently.
The City of Meridian will provide not insurance to cover damages incurred by Vendor due to loss, theft, or damage of artwork or any other property. Insurance of artwork, property, interests, and/or persons, including employees or agents, shall be Vendor’s sole responsibility. Vendor must obtain all insurance necessary to protect Vendor’s insurable interests.
The Meridian Main Street Market is held in the plaza in front of Meridian City Hall, which is an outdoor, open, public venue. Vendor accepts sole responsibility for taking any and all measures necessary to protect Vendor, Vendor’s employees and agents, and Vendor’s artwork and property from damage or injury due to weather, heat, dirt, water, vegetation, uneven ground, transmission of disease, and all other conditions that do or may exist at the venue, some of which may be unknown.
All artwork and goods displayed, whether or not for sale, will be appropriate for all ages, values, and sensibilities. Vendor’s display shall not include subject matter, language, attire, and/or behavior that is profane, obscene, violent, or discriminatory.
Prior to or after set-up, a City or Market representative may review Vendor’s display in order to ensure its safety and compliance with these terms and Market guidelines. Upon request of such representative, Vendor will remove from display any artwork or item that is unsafe or inappropriate.
The City of Meridian shall not provide compensation to any person for any work done or any activity undertaken at the Market. Vendor is an independent party and not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of City. Vendor shall be responsible for payment of any and all taxes due and owing as the result of participation in the Market.
Vendor acknowledges that Vendor’s participation in Market presents risks, some of which are unknown, and does agree to assume all such known or unknown risks. Vendor will, and by participating in Meridian Main Street Market does: indemnify, save, and hold harmless the City and any and all of its employees, agents, volunteers, and/or elected officials from any and all losses, claims, and judgments for damages or injury to persons or property, and from any and all losses and expenses caused or incurred by Vendor or by Vendor’s agents, employees, guests, and/or invitees.
